| dc.description.abstract | This essay seeks to reflect on the image of women in Latin American culture and their stigmatization as witches. My focus is on the history of the witch hunt, one of the greatest unjustified massacres of the female gender. Through research and experimentation with materials steeped in history, I explored their utility and cultural significance, revealing how these elements, in addition to their practical function, enclose stigmatizations and narratives of their own that are intertwined with relevant themes. My goal is to create an artistic project that generates a critical account of the stigmatization of witchcraft as a practice associated with the feminine. | en |
