- Resumen
The present work seeks to observe how the application of State security policies have been developed in the Mapuche Conflict in the Araucanía region between 1997 and 2018. This is because public and security policies, specifically the laws of State Internal Security and the Antiterrorist Law have been used as prevention and security measures in the Mapuche Conflict since the milestone of December 1, 1997, with the burning of three trucks in Lumaco. Therefore, our research has as its main objective to analyze the implementation of State Security public policies in the Araucanía conflict, inspired by the idea of State Security, between the years 1997-2018, through the review of newspapers, laws and official documents of the State.
