Sala de lectura: vulnerabilidad y horror a través del libro de artista

Abstract

My investigation is based in the making of artist books that promote the interaction with the reader. When it comes to the theme of these books, I explore, literally, the relationship between womanhood and the horror genre. Mi work consists in writings, books and objects that establish a bridge between vulnerability in women's own experiences and horror, from an autobiographical aspect. I comprehend my work as a way of healing, through writing, a series of experiences in which I’ve been violated by others. In this process, I give the reader/spectator the opportunity to link up to these specific experiences through reading, process which intends to provoke a reflection.
