Censorship may work under different formats. Combining the traditional approach to censorship together with the one proposed by Margaret E. Roberts and our own view, we shall deal with models of censorship based on the keys of fear, fricti on, flooding and ignorance. We shall also put forward a way of conceiving the complexity of the relationships between these four models which will lean upon the Lorenz a tractor. Finally the article will consider some examples connected to the current dyna mics inside contemporary art practices and the so called “artworld”.
