| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto de tesis tuvo como objetivo describir la práctica de participación de padres y madres migrantes latinoamericanos, residentes en Santiago de Chile, en las tareas escolares de sus hijos/as durante su experiencia migratoria. Se trata de un estudio cualitativo de tipo descriptivo, realizado desde un paradigma interpretativo. La variable de estudio fue la práctica de participación de padres y madres ante las tareas escolares de sus hijos/as. La muestra estuvo constituida por madres migrantes latinoamericanas con hijos/as en educación básica. El instrumento empleado fueron las entrevistas semi-estructuradas. Los relatos fueron transcritos para luego ser analizados por la teoría fundamentada. Los resultados del estudio resaltan el significado de participar en las tareas escolares de sus hijos/as e identifica diferencias en la participación, debido a su condición migratoria, así como también sus incidencias personales e incidencias externas que afectan su participación. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of the thesis project was to describe the participation practice of Latin American migrant parents, residents of Santiago de Chile, in their children's homework during their migratory experience. It is a descriptive qualitative study, carried out from an interpretative paradigm. The study variable was the participation practice of fathers and mothers in their children's homework. The sample consisted of Latin American migrant mothers with children in basic education. The instrument used was semi-structured interviews. The stories were transcribed and then analyzed using grounded theory. The results of the study highlight the meaning of participating in their children's schoolwork and identify differences in participation, due to their migratory status, as well as their personal and external incidences that affect their participation. | |
