Evolución de la tasa de ingreso y egreso al Programa Control con Enfoque de Riesgo Odontológico para niños menores de 7 años en Chile, años 2017 al 2020

Abstract

Objective: Determine the rate of admission and discharge to the CERO program implemented in APS for children under 7 years of age in Chile, years 2017 to 2020. Methodology: The behavior of the admission rate by sex was similar in the study period, being higher in 2018 (489 x 1,000 girls and 474 x 1,000 boys) and 262 x 1,000 for both sexes at discharge. In the analysis by age, the rate was higher at 6 years for both admission and discharge and in 2018. According to the geographical area, the southern part of the country presented a higher value for both admission and discharge. The highest annual percentage change (APC) for the rates of admission and discharge to the CERO program during the study period was for the 6 years with a value of 1728.78% at admission and 3990.20% at discharge. Conclusions: A low rate of entry and exit to the CERO program is shown in the study period, being higher in 2018, without differences by sex, greater than the age of 6 years and in the south of the country.
