Abstract

Mensajero de nuestro próximo futuro, is a sculpture that arises from the passion for creating automaton machines and futuristic scenarios in response to the current ecological impact. Through pseudo news, illustrations and visual and sound stimuli, the work presents a future reality of coexistence between machines, humans and plants, exploring the symbiosis between technology and nature. In the process of elaborating this work, he used illustrations, sculptures and newspapers, all linked by the concept of symbiosis between machine and nature. Various materials and techniques are used, from electronic devices to the flora that inhabits our forests and environments, which generates a dialogue between elements that seem contrary and that bet on reciprocity and communication in this work. In the interaction between sculpture and newspapers, the viewer is guided through the complexity of the machine, inviting him to freely interpret the fusion between art, science fiction and ecological awareness. Mensajero de nuestro próximo futuro creates imaginary worlds that, through the connection between future events and our present knowledge, act as reflective mirrors of our reality and future.
