The continuous intervention that arises from organic matter, like vines and trees, and infrastructure, within the urban scenery in the Metropolitan Region of Chile, is the starting engine of this study. Which focuses on exploration through the theory of new materialism, using visual resources, like sculpture and photography, in order to study, experiment and discover the presence of nature in the urban landscape. From this point, new concepts start appearing and revealing in this research, such as anthropocentrism, which demonstrates the capacity that humanity has of generating a geological impact on their habitat. Everything is influenced by the current economic system, which transforms untamed nature into a commercial product of social order. The artwork created from this investigation, which is also oriented to the materiality from the factors involved, becomes a reflection of the tension that exists and resides in places shared by nature and humans. Where it ́s capability of expansion and adaptability stands out from the limitations imposed by human society.
